October Month End and an FRL

October turned into quite a decent month in the end @ +£490 with four winners - indeed it nearly turned into a very decent month as we also had eight places with two being "gubbed" on the line and just the ten losers. At the risk of sounding like a broken record there are still places available.

Actually October could have been a most brilliant month had a certain pair of golfers not bogeyed their last holes in my little First Round Leader experiment. Grillo fell out of the tie for the lead in the Zozo @ 50/1 whilst Larrazabal fell out of the places in Qatar @ 66/1 - rather galling but will continue to have a crack at these markets. This weeks PGA event in Mexico is a bit tricky for the FRL market as it's obviously a new course but I will have a small stab at a big price on Tano Goya 200/1 ew (I got 7 places). Played well down the coast in the Mexico Open earlier in the year when 2nd after round one. Throughout his up and down career he often plays well by the sea - wins back in the day in Madeira and San Domenico and one of his best other European Tour results came in Mauritius when 3rd. Needs a minor miracle and therefore a fast start to keep his card!
