Korn Ferry Argentine Open

The tour remains in South America for one of the oldest national Opens in the World having first been played in 1905 and the winner will get an invite to the Open in the Summer - so a little bit extra to play for.

I'm going to stick with my first round go to Cristobal del Solar having finally gone in again last time @ 125/1. Nowhere near that price this week but as per last time very few books are offering prices so hopefully a few can get on - don't take the derisory 35/1 on offer but the 66-80 is worth a crack. For a change I will actually go for him outright this week @ 80/1 now that he has found some form on his home continent - he hung on for 8th three weeks ago after his opening 61. His record in Argentina is pretty impressive with a brace of wins and a brace of 5th places from 13 starts on the Latino tour, he was even 10th in this event on his one Korn Ferry start in 2024. He did miss the cut on this course on one appearance but was bang out of form then

How do you fancy a 500/1 shot (600/1 with 365) who shot nine under to Monday qualify, was 3rd and 4th in his only appearances @ the Jockey Club (2017 & 2019), was also 2nd twice and 4th and 6th in Argentina on the Latino Tour, won a mini tour event in Florida three weeks ago and has two wins on the Korn Ferry Tour? A bit of a long winded question but Jared Wolfe is your man! I've mentioned him a few times before and he clearly still has game with that Monday round and the win in Florida where he led from flag fall. He did play in the Bahamas in January as he got in as the defending champion - obv rusty he shot 80/69 to miss the cut, but the form he has shown the last few weeks has to give him a squeak at a huge price on a course he loves in a country he will have such fond memories. I've taken 500/1 and also a little 225/1 FRL just in case he starts well but fades.

This is just a page to record bets for this years Festival plus a little write up about each pick which I will gradually add to over the next few weeks. This year really cutting back on number of bets

An event that starts Friday so still plenty of time to get your bets on, it interests me a lot as a betting proposition because the top four players are taking out 50% of the market and I don't think
