I never bet in the Ryder Cup so had a long hard look at this weeks minor tours and with greater coverage came up with two possibles

Legends Tour WINSTONgolf Open Lionel Alexandre 55 or 60/1 ew

I want to take on the favourite Langer on his course as even when he was younger and more in his "prime" he still never won this finishing 8/2/3/4/5 so around the 4/1 mark he seems very short to me. Alexandre hasn't won yet on tour but has certainly been knocking on the door this year with 2 x 3rds and a 4th from 11 starts. Clearly likes the course with finishes of 6th and 11th in his two attempts, there certainly seems a bit of value in his price this week.

Asian Tour Taiwan Masters Viraj Madappa 80/1 ew (bits of 100/1 about)

Ten years ago Madappa was going to be the next best thing to come out of India as he reached the top 50 in the World Amateur rankings - he even won the Taiwan Amateur Open (hint!) However in 2022/23 he picked up a very bad back injury that basically sidelined him for 18 months. Amazingly he won on his comeback start in India earlier this year and added a 4th place recently at home. Last week in Taiwan after a slow start he climbed to 7th place playing better than anyone, he had also been 4th there before. He does have a 9th place here - in contention until the final round so clearly has an affinity for Taiwan. It seems as good a place as anywhere to win his first pro title outside India
