Thought I would do a recap each week of any pre tourny bets - sometimes they can get lost on X! and add a few extra snippets so it gets read lol

Open de France

Whilst Dan Bradbury doesn't get to defend his title @ Le Golf National I still like him @ 80/1 ew this week. Only other defence was Joburg Open when 3rd. Had a couple top 7's in the Summer and been playing OK of late. Plenty of b2b and multiple winners in the event

FRL happy to take a chance on veteran Nicolas Colsaerts. In 578 career starts, 9 ties for the lead and 5 outright leads. 54 times in the top 6 and ties after opening round. This year already has a 1st and 2nd in India and Austria. Obviously has won this before and has a t1st back in 2003 FRL. At this course last time played 2003 opened 66/66 to sit 4th and finished 5th in the end. Just think there's a little mileage @ around 150/1 ew got some 250 plus Betfair, don't mind betting there when out early as can sometimes trade

Champions Pure Insurance

From the iconic Pebble Beach - Jason Caron - been knocking on the door on this tour 26 starts 26.9% top 5 strike rate - maybe it will open this week as Pebble Beach was the scene of his highest ever PGA tour finish when 15th 33 - 40 ew certainly value in the place part

Matt Gogel - I waited a few years to back him on this tour here - scene of his best PGA memories with a 1st and 2nd. Sadly last year he came up just shy in 7th. Take out the lto final round was 5th and 6th before. 70/1 is good if you can but 50/55 more than fair

Other snippets - Challenge Tour Benjamin Follett-Smith 10th here in 2023 - poor final round, won on this tour around this time last year any 100/1 worth taking. Korn Ferry - Neal Shipley - the Ohio Buckeye gets to play his home University course where you need to be a long hitting fine putter so he should be OK going for win number three. Not a lot of value around 20/1 but maybe a good one if you like doing doubles etc on shorties

Goodbye 2025 Hello 2026

Whilst doing the research for todays Pau card I spotted a horse called Gardons Le Sourire which rang a loud bell. Scroll back nearly five and a half years and we were in Lockdown and the French had go
