If Casey wins the Matchplay today it will put him in the lead for the OOM. He also has the Ryder Cup to play in next week and is worth a small speculative punt. |

If he wins the BMW today he could virtually seal the Order of Merit for the season and a good performance in the Ryder Cup he has an outside squeak |

We actually backed this hugely talented youngster in his 2 starts on the Nationwide Tour when he disappointed - only to come out and finish 2nd last week!We have learnt our lesson with Kaymer and Canizares in Europe and will have a small bet on him at what could be a generous price |

A simple pick really with course form of 1/6/3/1 and the fact he hasn't missed a cut since the Masters.OK he maybe getting on a bit but he will still be competitive in this weak field |

The final is tonight and to be honest it is wide open - we will take a small risk on politics becoming an issue - Miss World would love a winner in the backyard of recent Miss Universe winners - especially a country which is a big pageant supporter - oh and she's good looking too! |

It will be difficult to tell how those who played in the Ryder Cup will react and play this week - so our one play is on someone who wasn't there. The surprise of the year on the European tour with 3 wins should be well suited on the course and is far too big a price. |

The contest is a bit more open this year compared to previous years but the lady from Africa is really in the top 3/4 of all the contestants and is worth a small punt - shame there is no e/w at this price! |

The young Spanish player has been impressive on the Challenge Tour this season - in 16 starts he has managed a win and 4 other top 5 finishes 2 of which came in his native Spain - pretty generous odds considering! |

Brent Geiberger |
Went up early as these days we like to get the 6 places for our selections. Geiberger has a habit of managing to retain his card somehow each season and this year he needs to do it again. His results here show a definite pattern - 2/c/3/c/11/c/14/c so he can defintely play the course. He has been in solid if unspectacular form this year but all his best results have been on par 70 courses - so don't be surprised to see him pop up at a very big price! |

To be honest we were hoping for slightly bigger odds but we will not pass up the chance of betting him at a venue where his game (we think) will be well suited.Always in contention at some point here at in the last 4 years he finally sealed his first win on this tour in the summer and after a slight wobble following that win he has confirmed the upturn in form since changing to the same coach as David Howell |

Beckman has been playing on both tours this year and has had a rather mediocre season with a few glimpses of decent form. His course from reads really well however with finishes of 5/13/5 and as a previous tour winner he is a touch of value at these odds |

Bart Bryant |
We have often picked Bryant in the past but this is the first time he has shown any worthwhile form for a while. The main thing about him is the fact he is a good closer - he has had 3 chances to win in the last couple of seasons and he has taken every opportunity! - something which cannot be said about others at the top of the leaderboard |

Time for our biggest golf bet of the year so far!
We picked him a few weeks ago for Russia when he added another top 20 finishing position to a decent run and he has since finished top 6 in 2 Challenge Tour events. Probably unknown to most people he won an event at Crans in 2003 quite comfortably which got him an invite to this event where he recovered from a poor start to finish 37th. We think the key to him playing well is that the course is similar to his home course in Santiago which is also built in a ski resort at altitude

Bookmakers sometimes have short memories - it wasn't that long ago that Pavin won comfortably. The par 70 course should suit is short but accurate game and the event has a habit of throwing up older winners |
