Have had him in mind for next year if he committed to playing and concentrating on Europe - he has just agreed that this is what he will be doing next year - last time he spent a full year on the Euro tour he was 6th in the OOM |

The young Korean is a promising talent - he won the Japanese Amateur in 2004 against all the home bred talent. In the summer he played in a few Japanese Challenge tour events culminating in a 2nd and 1st and he then came to play on the main tour where he has been impressive with 12 straight cuts made and 4 top 10's.He has even had a few chances to win and one will finally drop |

The Colombian won in his home country on the Tour de Las Americas a couple of months ago and is due to play in the WGC World team championships next month.
He was a top college player in the States a few years ago and reached the semi-final of the US amateur,he has also won a Stage 1 Euro qualifier before and there seems a bit of value at this price |

On a different angle to Love - Wetterich seems to have been rejuvenated since his Ryder Cup debut finishing 6th in the American Express and runner-up at the weekend. This is just the level of form he showed earlier in the year when he went 6/4/c/1/c/2 and 50/1 is just a shade too big. |

A big price for a player who took 6 weeks off (after the disappointment of not making the Ryder Cup team) and then came back with a win and a 5th place finish. With finishes of 8/8/5/4 he is also clearly totally at home playing here at East Lake |

Sticking with the player who did us proud last week who is in excellent form - mainly because he has found the secret to putting at the moment. It had been 5 years since his last win but then he won back to back - a pro-am and then an event in Florida. He can also boast 4th and 5th place finishes on this course from 4 appearances |

Possibly went a bit early with the 100/1 but really was quite surprised to get that big a price so the 250/1 is astonishing. The Korean girls have done quite well in this event over the years and Shin is the latest phenomenon. In her rookie year in 12 starts she has amassed 2 wins, 5 runner-up slots and 2 3rd place finishes. |

Surprised to get quite such a big price for the Spaniard who won on the Challenge Tour this season. He will have fond memories of this course as it was here he set the course record on the way to the first round lead a few years back in the Sarazen World Open. |

The Qualifying School is a daunting stage for any professional golfer to perform well in so we feel experience is often a valuable asset and these two players certainly have that as they were joint first on this course last season over 4 rounds. Menut certainly has the talent to go all the way as he won the Alps Tour Order of Merit in 2005 and played last week in an event on that tour finishing 4th.Crespi is a young promising Italian player who can also draw on his experiences from last year. |

We fancy quite a few here but they are all just a little short - Scotland and Gaunt were high on our list However we will plump for the player who won in Portugal in breezy conditions and who shot through the field this week in the Azores Open having been caught out in bad weather with an 80 on Monday he then came back well in the last 2 rounds on this course. We would strongly advise avoiding favourite Morgan who pulled out of this weeks event after having a seizure. |

It is often best to look away from the head of the market in the Challenge Tour finale as only once in the seven times it has been played has a winner that season come out and won.The Argentine hasn't had a great season but on a line of form through last years course and distance winner Suneson we reckon he has a chance. |

The Colombian will certainly have his followers back in his adopted state of Florida. Earlier in the season he managed a 2nd at Doral and a 3rd at the Players whilst being fervently cheered.Add to this his 2nd at the FBR and more recently 5th in Canada then no way is he a 3 figure price. |

The talented youngster returned to tournament golf after a layoff since April with a hand injury and he showed how keen he was to play by winning comfortably on the Nationwide Tour last week.
We remember him well for his 2 runner-up slots last year in the desert and is worth a speculative punt at these odds. |

Lots of reaons to back Watney to get his maiden win this week.
Firstly his current form - 3 top 8 finishes in his last 5 starts
Course form - 6th on his debut last season(his best finish of the year)
Playing in Nevada 10/36/6/5 in his 4 starts
Pro-am format - obviously his 6th here last season - he was also 7th in the AT&T this season
Time of year - in 2004 on the NW tour he finished 4/40/2/1 in October

We tipped him up here last year after his impressive performance on this course as an amateur in 2004.This year he comes here in much better form with a top 10 in the PGA and 6th place at his last event. It is quite a weak looking event and if he was to fulfill his potential it will surely be in an event like this |

It is not often you get to back a player who has been runner-up and 3rd in his last 2 tournaments at 200/1 but thats what we have here. After his 2nd in Madrid Garrido played in Spain again last week finishing 3rd to Jimenez - if this is a sign his swing changes have finally set in then this could be the week to back him.Although not known as a links player he did lead in Holland earlier this season after 2 rounds and his form in this event is quite good when you look closely enough |
