We are really really confident that Imada will go well this week and if it wasn't a Major we would be going much bigger than 1 pt ew. Imada has the form this year with a victory,a couple of runner-up slots and a 5th. Whilst Torrey will play differently he has great course form improving every year in the last 4 culminating in his 2nd to Woods in January. He also seems to play tough courses well and was top 15 in the US Open in 05 and 06 and is a better player now with a victory under his belt. |

Weir also has some decent course form round Muirfield with a 3rd and 4th to his name and is certainly not as unpredictable as O'Hair as he gradually finds his form before finding success and he has certainly been doing that over the past few weeks. As a multiple winner on tour just hitting form coming to a course he plays well we have to bet at 66/1 |

Pick from left field this week is young talented Argentinian Echenique who caught our eye after a good performance at Wentworth last week and a quick email to his management company gave us some reasons for that mprovement. He certainly likes Wales having had a top 5 finish on the Challenge Tour and last year here his rounds 2 and 3 were the 3rd best of all the players. As for the course - well comparing it to other tour venues we really have a gut feeling it will suit him although we are slightly concerned about the length. |

A low price for us to take but we really do think there is a great deal of value even at 28/1. Local guy Rummells made his debut on this tour the other week and played well to come 20th and managed to get a sponsors invite to play this week. Whilst he has never set the world on fire on the PGA tour he has won a couple of Nationwide events and these sort of players often surprise when they hit the Champions tour. O'Hair is a notoriously difficult player to catch right - his win in March came after 2 straight missed cuts and he hasn't been in great form recently until last week when he improved with every round. Butch Harmon is now his coach and in his first 4 starts on this tour he was very poor when missing the cut in each event. The last 2 events have seen a general upturn in his form being 4th each time at the cut and improving from 37th to 10th last time. We have to guess the course will suit but last year the big hitters were favoured and there are not many who hit it further than Lee. |

He was in a great run of form last season when he came here and finished 3rd despite a poorish final round and the next week he won in Wales and has won again since in the Joburg Open. He also led the putting stats here in 05 so knows how to play the course from start to finish - hopefully he won't need too much adjusting back on the European tour and if not he will be right up there. |

This is one of those bets that in years gone by could have been 150/1 and the compilers I have spoken to think this price is way too short but we will persevere even at 50/1. Walker has been a revelation since he hit 40 - he won his 2nd stage of Q school back in November but failed in the main event - he then didn't play until last month competitively and then he won 3 events on the bounce on the Adams Tour. OK it is not a strong tour but he has won these 3 events by a combined 10 strokes and is 46 under par!
