The Japanese player qualified for the Champions tour with a 3rd place finish at the Q school.He won twice on the Japanese tour this season - no mean feat for a man of his age and he used to play well on the PGA tour - indeed it was not many years ago he was competitive on the main US tour. |

This young South African could well be the next in a long line of talented players wanting to follow in Els' footsteps.He had gone off the boil a bit of late after a run of finishes in his homeland that went 5/1/2/2/1 but played well last week. If you look at course form at this difficult links course look nof urther than Aiken who won here last year by 7 shots with -5 in a small SA event. |

Was hoping for 5 places and an early tee time but he still warrants a small bet. Last year was not a great 1st round at the course for Moore but in the 3 previous Tour Championships staged here he was 4th, 1st and 1st after round one.He is a fast starter in a lot of tournaments - indeed he led in his last one! |

The presence of Angel Cabrera gives us some big prices on the outsiders and none more so than 2004 Brazilian Open champion Gasnier. He has been plying his trade on the minor tours of the US with some success and has played in 5 events on the Las Americas tour this year - if you can forgive his poor performance in Mexico last week then the other 5 finishes were 8/3/4/4. |
